Check out that BELLY

Today I got a great present for my birthday, we were able to take a tour of the maternity floor where the baby will be delivered. We got to see all the rooms and see the equipment. We also got to see how all of the monitors worked and how we will be able to watch our baby's heart rate and see the contractions come and go on the monitor. We are a little scared but very excited. Not long now, we are at 30 weeks and counting. From here on the baby should be growing a 1/2 inch and a 1/2 pound a week, so Jessica's belly should really start getting big!!

The Baby Shower!!!

Today was our first baby shower!!! Jessica had almost 50 friends from church show up to support us and our baby to be. Our good friends Carrie and Angie gave Jessica a shower that was absolutely beautiful. We could not have been happier with the turnout and are so appreciative of everyone that was involved. The greatest part of the whole thing was Jessica's mother, Sara, surprised her by showing up for the weekend. Jessica had no clue she was coming and it was a great addition to a wonderful baby shower. All of the baby stuff that is now taking over our home has really boosted our excitement for the baby's arrival!!

Our First Post!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone-
We have just created this blog tonight and are excited to be sharing our lives with you. As most of you know we are expecting our first child on July 1 st or close to that date anyway. Jessica has been very healthy throughout the pregnancy so far. We started our parenting classes last night and started learning all the 'to do' and 'not to do' things about being new parents.
