Daniel Meets His Great Grandparents

This week Daniel got to meet all of his Great Grandparents.
They were all so proud of our little boy.

Daniel really enjoyed sleeping on Great Grandma for a nice long nap.


Great Grandpa Russ came to visit us and Daniel was so happy
to meet him. He laughed at all of his jokes.

Bath time and nap time, the different faces of Daniel. Really, he likes bath time now, this is a picture of his first submerged bath after the cord fell off. He likes the warm water now but he wasn't so sure at first. We love to watch Daniel during nap time, he looks so peaceful and so happy. Stay tuned....

Let the Crying Begin

Well, we made it through week 2 with no major setbacks. Daniel is putting on weight as fast as his father, eating every couple hours is something we have in common already. :) This week the honeymoon ended, our happy little boy decided to start having crying fits a couple days ago. We have found that car rides and running the vacuum cleaner seems to be an amazing remedy to the chaos. But seeing his little eyes look up at you, more than makes up for any frustrations. Here are a couple of fun pics out of the hundreds to choose from.

One Week Old

We have had the best week getting to know Daniel Lee. We feel so blessed to have a healthy baby. Jessica's parents, Ron and Sara, have been visiting us this week from Florida and Daniel loves to snuggle with his new grandparents and can't wait to go to Florida this winter to meet his Uncle Josh and Aunt Nicole. Grandpa Mike and Grandma Pam have had big smiles everytime they hold little Daniel and I'm sure they can't wait to spoil him on a regular basis. Uncle Markus, Aunt Nicole, and Uncle Josh are sure to be around often to teach Daniel all sorts of funny things to do in this world. Poor kid is going to be confused with two Uncle Josh's and two Aunt Nicole's, I'm sure they will love the nicknames we'll have to come up with to tell them apart. As for Jessica and myself, we enjoy every minute of being Mommy and Daddy. We can't wait to start teaching him about life and tell him about how much God loves him. Here are some pics.
