THE SNAKE CHARMER

There was a snake demonstration at church this week for the kids and Daniel and Daddy got to hold the big albino python. Daniel is gonna love snakes just like his Dad. Here are some more pics from that night and a couple cute ones of the Danimal.

Daniel had a great first year Trick or Treating . He was really excited about being the friendly blue monster.
Last year, John and Daniel were pumpkins together. This year, they talked it over and decided to do their own thing. John liked Daniel's eyes and Daniel thought John's clown hat was pretty funny. These boys are destined to be best buds.

Fall Break in Florida

Daniel and Mommy headed to Florida for Mommy's fall break. They had bunches of fun visiting with family and hanging out at the beach. Daniel loved the water. It took him some time to realize that there were shells in the water. Once he did, he was on a mission to collect shells. We have a nice collection of 4 shells to bring back to Indiana. We are already looking forward to our next beach trip in December....water however will be much cooler....bummer.

Summer Fun

As we reflect over the summer that has so quickly gone by, we want to remember some more of the good times!! We have enjoyed a week get away to the mountains of Georgia, a weekend at Shedd Aquarium, and a lake weekend. That's not to mention the other posts from this summer. It's no wonder the summer went by so fast!!

Daniel loved the animals at the Shedd Aquarium. I think he was especially happy to see this one...because he could touch it.


He's Daniel again with his best friend, water. They had a splash pool area for the younger kids. Within seconds, he was soaked.



We also picked up a wading pool for our little man to play in. It made summer, but that much sweeter for him.

Indy Weekend

A few weekends ago, we were able to get away for a few days for Indianapolis. We had such a great time with the Cummings family. The boys were SO fun to watch as they played together for hours. The zoo, albeit a bit rainy, was very fun. Daniel seemed to enjoy the meerkats, penguins, and the shark exhibits.

This was Daniel's first swimming pool experience and boy did he LOVE it.

On Sunday, we took a hike in the Eagle Creek Park. The boys enjoy their packs. Daniel didn't disappoint; he sang to Jon the whole way!

We have a ONE year old!

Daniel was a lucky boy this year because he had 3 birthday celebrations: one in Georgia with Jess's side of the family, one on his birthday at Brown County State Park with our church family, and one the Fourth of July. Although it was not intentionally planned this way, Daniel had an Elmo birthday! We all loved the cake!!
